  • What is CyberKnife?

    CyberKnife is the world recognized robotic system for radiosurgery applied for the treatment of malignant tumors. It is an alternative to the traditional surgery. Radiosurgery is non-invasive and painless. CyberKnife directs radiation into the the tumor to destroy it. This method can be also prescribes when a tumor is considered as inoperable.

    Diseases treated by CyberKnife

    Doctors use CyberKnife for the treatment of such diseases:

    • tumors of the brain and eyes (gliomas, meningiomas, acoustic neuromas, metastases of the brain, etc.);
    • tumors of the spinal cord and spine (astrocytomas, neurofibromas, chordomas, ependymomas, and metastases in the spine);
