The doctor has caused trust
In order Bookimed was advised by a friend when she was diagnosed and the question arose of confirming it and obtaining a treatment protocol. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the diagnosis, Ukraine could not be considered. In general, everything seems confusing when far from medicine and you do not understand how further. 1. At night, Bookimed wrote - in the morning they called, identified the coordinator Daria (medical unit), they received copies of the test results, consulted and suggested further actions: clinics, expenses, etc. I chose Anadolu (Turkey), although Turkey was not considered Turkey at first , but having studied the info on the Internet and the reviews made a decision. 2. Logistics (flight, transfer, resettlement, etc.) organized by Barbara. Tickets, reservations, and so on — we didn’t do at all.) Now I wondered if there were any rust or comments — but no, everything was clear, correct, prompt responses, constant communication and full support. That's really all at a decent level. 3. By hotels: it was possible to choose on the territory of Anadolu or nearby (there was a list of hotels that provide transfer to the clinic) I decided that it would be boring on the territory of Anadolu, some patients and chose Elite hotel darica, in the hope that in addition to the clinic I would not have to be in the room. Hotel standards, but in early December, the kitchen is empty and very sad. But the room is spacious, modern - ok, were not hungry, although probably for all my trips and hotels - it was the most meager breakfast and dinner. But in the room kettle, which was very useful to us. Friendly staff 4. In the Medical Center Anadolu accompanied Suleiman. In general, at all stages - accompanying higher praise. They know their business: correct, unobtrusive, but leading and most importantly constructive. 5. The clinic itself: a large, bright, modern, functional, no frills, but it became very sad that there is simply nothing like this in Ukraine. Reception in the queue, waiting for reception for a couple of hours, but the chairs are incredibly comfortable, you can be in the Cafe (there are also sofas, there are different snacks) - they will call. There is a dining room, but there is a clear time for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In short, there are no comments when they immediately warn you that you need to wait and the waiting conditions are comfortable. 6. Reception at prof. Zafera Gulbash: there is nothing special to write, most of the techniques of normal clinics, the behavior of doctors is professional, the examination, the study of test results, the questions and the definition of further actions, the tests are done quickly, all electronically immediately on the monitor for the doctor. The doctor has caused trust. 7. It should be noted that we are at the very beginning: reviewing the diagnosis. It’s hard to even imagine how much time, financial and professional costs it took for the creators to make the information so accessible and complete for the patient. Thank you for your work and choosing such a useful niche as this! It is so important for the patient to be able to communicate with the manager at any time: to talk, consult, discuss personal issues and possible risks. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Before finding you, I had experience communicating with two organizations that provide services in the field of medical tourism, but unfortunately, commerce and the desire to sell specific specialists without options is alarming and does not inspire confidence at all. On the other hand, I’m even glad that I had such a short communication experience, especially since I was able to evaluate the capabilities of Bookimed! I understand that for the reader my review may be similar to an ode of praise, but as they say, “you can’t erase words from a song.”))) Therefore, I can only continue to talk about how it was in my specific case. Thanks to the Khizar clinic for a luxurious spacious room with floor-to-ceiling windows, an additional sofa for visitors, as well as delicious meals three times a day. It would seem difficult to surprise us with high-quality Turkish service in a hotel, but when your stay in the clinic is exactly the same as in a hotel, it is much more valuable at a time when you are absolutely alone in a foreign country and your physical capabilities are temporarily limited. Everything was thought out to the smallest detail: it so happened that I arrived for the operation unaccompanied, with a small backpack. This was extremely important for me: everything I could need was provided or was already available in my favorite room opposite the reception. The operation was scheduled for the afternoon, so the most difficult time was at night. The nurse who was on night duty did a tremendous job and until 6 am did everything as required according to the protocol after the operation. Yes, you can say, how could it be otherwise, you paid the money and it should be so, but you and I know very well that no one has canceled the human factor, and patients in this state after surgery cannot always read carefully in English doctor's recommendation language. Therefore, I send rays of love to this Great Man!!! Every 40 minutes He applied cold compresses, fed me even at night, and then took me for a walk along the long corridor of the clinic. This is an invaluable experience for me, not only because it is important for rehabilitation and health, but also for my personal faith in people. Low bow to the doctor for his professionalism, ability to listen to the patient and a high-quality operation. I would also like to thank Gulshirin Beshimova for the opportunity to make my stay in Turkey as comfortable as possible. Just as theater begins with a coat rack, so in my case Istanbul greeted me with a friendly smile from the driver and a luxurious car. It is impossible not to mention Alpay. I’ve been driving for 20 years, but I’ve never seen anyone pay such attention to the car and the passengers sitting in the back seat: TV, music from all over the world, water of different temperatures, drinks, napkins, a footrest for comfortable feet, and even a fresh bouquet of herbs to scent the salon! I highly recommend Florence Nightingale Hospital to anyone that is about to undergo a medical journey. For us, everything happened so suddenly. From the moment we uploaded files and made our request on Bookimed, Aliser as the International Coordinator was immediately on hand to support us - incredibly attentively and with compassion. He was supportive to our needs, and at a moment’s notice jumped onto WhatsApp calls to answer any questions and went above and beyond to give us the information we needed. We were navigating significant timezone issues (based in Hong Kong, whereas the patient, father-in-law, was in Albania) but we didn’t feel this burden. We had lots of specific needs that were met, including jumping onto a Video call with Professor Yildiray Yuzer, to answer questions directly. We weren’t the easiest of patients with lots of reassurance needed, but Aliser was helpful in being able to put himself in the position of the patient and being on our side to help us. We were incredibly satisfied by the level of support that we received - especially in comparison to other hospitals in Istanbul. I can’t recommend Aliser and the level of support we received enough - especially in such difficult circumstances. Once we arrived in Istanbul we appreciated being met with a transfer, and recommendations were made for accommodation to ensure that we were comfortable. Throughout our consultations, we most definitely felt that the Florence team was earnest - putting patient health first, above profit, which we appreciated. During the hospital stay itself, we were also blown away by the compassion of the nurses and support staff in our ward. Something that was so challenging, was punctuated throughout with so many moments of warmth and support. In addition, the facilities, hospital rooms, and cleanliness and hygiene at Florence were fantastic, we couldn’t have wished for a better stay. Most importantly, we were reassured by the experience and expertise of Professor Yuzer and his team. Any patient can trust that they are in expert hands. It’s also helpful to see that these skills are supported by a genuine empathy for the patient. Ultimately, the procedure was a success (we hope that positive health outcome continues!). It feels surreal having embarked on the journey, however, I’m incredibly satisfied with the service, support and expertise of the hospital. There’s nothing I can think of to improve!

Previous reports have been reviewed and discussed as well. Advices and guidelines have been suggested. Finally medication have been prescribed beside lab check up request. I was looking for high qualified professionals and professor Layla was the right person. Financially it seems to me that the costs are high.

Everything was perfect. My personal driver met me at the airport and took me to the clinic in a luxury car. At the clinic I was met by the coordinator - interpreter Ismail. He helped me to get registered at the clinic and set preliminary analyses. The next day there was another coordinator - interpreter. She helped me through the remaining procedures before surgery. Many people come with an accompanying family member (mum, sister, husband) I came alone. So my coordinator sat with me in the room after surgery all day until I fully recovered, talking to me. All the days after the operation, the coordinators came several times a day to ask about my condition and my needs. All the doctors are very nice and attentive. All the staff, nurses, orderlies and other clinic staff are all very caring and nice. The ward is large and spacious. It has a toilet and a shower. There is a cupboard for personal belongings and a TV set. Meals are provided several times a day. The menu differs depending on the operation and some people can make their own diet. My whole family against me coming to turkey for this operation from the Us they were very scared and I was a little nervous as well . Wish they could have come and seen how I was treated here like royalty . Hate to admit it but would have never got this kind of service in US. My coordinator Marsela, went above and beyond to research the perfect Doctor and accommodate with all of her request for the best Doctor. She always answered my questions and followed up when needed. My surgery coordinators Zeynep and Hisham were amazing and followed up and Hisham was there in person from the pre-op to post op and both were there 24 hours a day when I needed them or just to make sure I was doing good following my surgery. Dr. Emre Ozenalp is a very skilled surgeon and is amazing. The cuts he made I will have little scarring due to being a skilled surgeon. Dr. Emre and his Nurses followed up everyday to check on my status. He’s Nurses are amazing and we’re very compassionate since I am a very modest person. I would highly recommend Bookimed, my surgery coordinators, and Dr. Emre and his Nurses. I am very amazed and super excited about my outcome of my surgery. My amazing husband who was by my side the whole and supported my decision was absolutely amazed and thanked Dr. Emre for the amazing work he did on my tummy tuck.
