I was satisfied with the result of the surgical interventions performed at the Dr.Med clinic, and there were several of them: Brachioplasty Liposuction of the knees Lower blepharoplasty Neck lift Liposuction of the neck I would especially like to highlight the pedantic and meticulous approach to his work of Mr. Hakan Teymur. He approaches the operation very thoroughly, so the operation lasts quite a while. This is the most important thing for me - a doctor who will do his job perfectly. This is exactly the kind of doctor he is, laconic and very diligent. Everything else - service with transfer, hotel, coordinator - everything was organized clearly - thank you very much to the team, the hotel was above all praise, of a high level. This is very important when you spend the most difficult first days after surgery in absolute comfort. The operations take place in a government hospital. Nobody speaks English there. Communication is very difficult; if there are complications after surgery, then this is problematic. There is also very questionable medical training. Injections and tests are taken without gloves. They can't take an analysis. They pricked a vein, didn’t get it and left. We touched it with our own hands without gloves. They measure your blood pressure haphazardly or not at all, and then they write down what they made up and lie that they checked it all night. Immediately after the operation I had to call them and shout for them to come because the call button did not work. I had a lingering shock from all this. We had a girl translator with us who did not want to disconnect when I asked her. Although I speak English fluently and did not need her services. I didn’t want to undress in front of her and show my chest or belly. Therefore, the consultation was useless for me. As I became convinced later (when I had already undergone surgery), this company is very focused on earnings, and not on the client. Read more less

I stayed at the clinic for 6 days, good conditions, separate room, 3 meals a day. The medical staff was always on the phone, they helped in any situation. I was surprised that manipulations with blood (taking analyses, treatment of stitches after surgery) are carried out without disposable gloves, for this a huge minus. Consultations with the doctor were also very fast, he was always in a hurry. I had a lot of questions, but half of them remained unanswered. He does his job, but especially does not explain or tell anything. For me this is also a disadvantage.

I had a good experience, had my breast reduction with Dr. Ergin Er. He is very professional, I chose his clinic because of his experience and good reviews. I wanted to go too small because my whole life I hated my breasts but he explained to me the best option and I love my results. I’m emotional thinking of how my dream came true, only someone with big saggy boobs can understand this. I feel like a whole new person. This is life changing, All dresses and tops I couldn’t wear I can now wear. I won’t have to struggle looking for bras that fit. No more bruises from bra straps, back pain when I sit…endless. I enjoyed my experience, it was a solo trip that I needed and it’s incredible how someone’s life can change in just one day. My after care is not complicated, I’m just following the instructions, trying not lift anything heavy and I’m healing so well. The after pictures I took them on my seventh day after Dr Ergin removed the tapes I had from surgery. I spent 6 days in Veyron hotel and came back on the 7th day. I went alone and I was worried I would struggle with no help but the hotel has a restaurant & room service with very nice workers.

Trying to get hair replacement procedure in the USA is not only expensive and behind the expertise that other countries like South Korea or in my case, Turkey, are known for. From day one, Bookimed was extremely responsive and answered all my questions quickly and expertly, while getting me the best price for my hair replacement procedure. I was initially given a quote for Istanbul Plastic Surgery Clinic, but later given an even better rate and consultation with Adem & Havva Hair Clinic. I went with the FUE hair method which is less costly than the newer DHI method, and I believe just as effective, although a little more recovery is needed by about a few days with FUE method. Do your homework on what you want done for your needs and balance the price and see what works for you. Remember that two prices are offered for either procedure: "Shaven head" and "Unshaven head," With the shaven head being the cheaper cost but I believe more sanitary. Unshaven method does look better while you heal (you keep your regular hair) but I just believe removing all hair to allow doctors a clean base for the hair procedure is the best way to go, and cheaper and more sanitary too without sacrificing quality. Your cost will vary depending on your consultation with BookImed that includes sending them pictures with specific instructions. But ultimately the amount of hair grafts you need will determine the final cost. But BookiMed will work to find the very best deal for you based on procedure you've chosen. But compare other clinics if you feel better to see that Bookimed will give you the best rate for comparable procedures from other clinics. I recommend getting to Turkey about 3-4 days early so you can sight see this beautiful country before your hair procedure. They will arrange all transportation and hotel accommodations for you if you wish extra nights and will pick you up at airport and take you to your hair procedures. I cannot stress enough that my visit and my procedure was excellent and I highly recommend Bookimed for hair and even plastic surgery procedures ( I will do a chin lift next). It has only been a week since my procedure was done and can post pics based on my current status of healing. But I have not suffered any issues or side effects and my scalp and hair are healing and growing properly. The clinic will follow my hair process for one year to ensure my hair grows out well and I am completely satisfied. I hope this review helps many of you out there. I want to give a special thank you to Dr. Hassan Jabar from Bookimed, Maryum our hair nursing consultant and coordinator, Serpil Kargin, the Adem and Havva Hair Clinic Office manager, and finally our driver, Mr. Zafer who was very kind and helped me with all my transportation and covid testing needs to return back to the USA.

I am writing this review in my hotel room the day after having a beard and hair transplant. When I first decided to undergo a hair​ transplant in Turkey, I was inundated with offers from, what seemed to be, hundreds of hair transplant clinics through WhatsApp, and it was hard to know which clinics were the best? I decided to pick Hair in Istanbul, because I could see no negatives reviews and they were recommended to me by Bookimed. I then heavily researched this clinic online before making a decision. I could tell once I met with the medical team that I had made a good choice on coming to this clinic. This is a good clinic, and the medical team who carried out the procedure were highly skilled, professional, and considerate. Once, they started taking grafts I could tell these people know what they were doing. On my initial WhatsApp consultation, I was told they would be able to extract 3000 grafts but, they actually extracted 4800 and so they implanted some additional grafts in the crown area of my head free of charge. They implanted every single graft in which meant they took longer than scheduled. I will send the photographic results of my hair and beard transplant after 6 months has passed. I also give Hair permission to pass on my contact details to anyone who wants to contact me with questions about my experience as a client at this clinic.​ ​ I'd like to give a special thank you to Yulia, Mehmet Ali, and particularly the highly professional and extremely talented medical team of technicians who carried out the actual procedure. The only problem was with the interpreters at the hospital itself. There was supposed to be one girl, they said she was not there, then another girl came, and at the discharge there was another girl. And they took turns asking me "what did that interpreter say" or "what did that interpreter say to you". The hospital itself is very big and reading, on the first day a young man from the staff came up to the clinic and clearly by my running look understood that you need help. Good room, I was with a support group in the form of my mum, she was fed three times a day, had a place to sleep and a nice bathroom. The surgeon made my nose look beautiful, and she was unflappable, in a good way.)

It is so important for the patient to be able to communicate with the manager at any time: to talk, consult, discuss personal issues and possible risks. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Before finding you, I had experience communicating with two organizations that provide services in the field of medical tourism, but unfortunately, commerce and the desire to sell specific specialists without options is alarming and does not inspire confidence at all. On the other hand, I’m even glad that I had such a short communication experience, especially since I was able to evaluate the capabilities of Bookimed! I understand that for the reader my review may be similar to an ode of praise, but as they say, “you can’t erase words from a song.”))) Therefore, I can only continue to talk about how it was in my specific case. Thanks to the Khizar clinic for a luxurious spacious room with floor-to-ceiling windows, an additional sofa for visitors, as well as delicious meals three times a day. It would seem difficult to surprise us with high-quality Turkish service in a hotel, but when your stay in the clinic is exactly the same as in a hotel, it is much more valuable at a time when you are absolutely alone in a foreign country and your physical capabilities are temporarily limited. Everything was thought out to the smallest detail: it so happened that I arrived for the operation unaccompanied, with a small backpack. This was extremely important for me: everything I could need was provided or was already available in my favorite room opposite the reception. The operation was scheduled for the afternoon, so the most difficult time was at night. The nurse who was on night duty did a tremendous job and until 6 am did everything as required according to the protocol after the operation. Yes, you can say, how could it be otherwise, you paid the money and it should be so, but you and I know very well that no one has canceled the human factor, and patients in this state after surgery cannot always read carefully in English doctor's recommendation language. Therefore, I send rays of love to this Great Man!!! Every 40 minutes He applied cold compresses, fed me even at night, and then took me for a walk along the long corridor of the clinic. This is an invaluable experience for me, not only because it is important for rehabilitation and health, but also for my personal faith in people. Low bow to the doctor for his professionalism, ability to listen to the patient and a high-quality operation. I would also like to thank Gulshirin Beshimova for the opportunity to make my stay in Turkey as comfortable as possible. Just as theater begins with a coat rack, so in my case Istanbul greeted me with a friendly smile from the driver and a luxurious car. It is impossible not to mention Alpay. I’ve been driving for 20 years, but I’ve never seen anyone pay such attention to the car and the passengers sitting in the back seat: TV, music from all over the world, water of different temperatures, drinks, napkins, a footrest for comfortable feet, and even a fresh bouquet of herbs to scent the salon!
