I thank the staff of the clinic, Professor Ilknur Bayraktar and, of course, the Bukmed team represented by Maria and translator Gulzar for their professionalism. Everything went smoothly. I was in Severance on May 27, 2019 at a reception by the oncologist's homolog, and on the same day mammography and ultrasound of the mammary glands were done. For the conclusion they said to come on June 5th. I want to say a big thank you to my coordinator Lydia, I went everywhere, translated, sat and waited in queues with me. Service at the highest level! Today, on June 5, I came back to the homologue and she looked at the pictures and said that all is not well worry. And in Russia, they saw a tumor from somewhere. I was also given a disc with ultrasound and momography and a conclusion in paper in English. Thank you all and thanks to bookimed.com! This is not a hoax, really help people. Hello. I just wanted to mention some of the things that happened, so that your team is in the loop of what your customers are going through. I was contacted by Dr. Sadeq, which was very pleasant to communicate with. Roman on the other hand, was not clear about anything from the beginning. Saying “don’t worry, it is okay.” After confirming the doctors, and sending all my medical files 2 weeks ahead of time, I came to realise that the doctors have no idea about my condition. I walked in to a confused doctor, not even knowing that I have heart failure. I saw this as quite unprofessional that they haven’t even had time to review my documents. Once the doctor asked for my files, Roman did not have them, and I was forced to give a brief summary of what happened. This made me feel that my case was of no interest or importance to the representative. After finally managing to see the surgeon, he said that was the only day he was available (March 2nd), and that he was flying for work elsewhere. He had asked me to come back on the 16th of March. I could not believe that, as I have paid for tickets, plus hotels for two people (my mother joining) for 10 days in Vienna, when the doctor is not even there to do the surgery I was supposed to do. Do you know what the costs are of this mishap? After that, we ended up seeing another cardiologist recommended by the cardio surgeon. He was great, but when we came back the next day for ROman’s set appointment, it turns out there was no appointment, and he “had to go” and left me to deal with the hospital. The communication with Roman was horrible. I was just waiting in the lobby for 3 days not knowing what will happen, what are the fees, and no warnings or consultations. Especially when an x-ray costs 2,500 euros, I would have appreciated an initial warning of the costs. Not just “come pay” style that he has. That is as much as the biopsy, which I will still have to do in the future. I have experience with companies like yours, but the unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and unorganisation is unprecedented. I am going out of my way just to clarify what my experience was with your team, with handling things. The hospital and doctors were great. It was just the missteps by Roman that was upsetting.

Despite the fact that I went to the gastrectomy operation alone, without an accompanying person, I did not feel for a single minute without attention and care. Thanks to my wonderful translator Elmira - she has become a real support. Special thanks to my coordinator Bakhtygul - she organized everything as comfortably and professionally as possible. The recovery room is excellent. Bright, with a beautiful view. My deep gratitude to all the staff of the surgical department (floor 1) for their kindness, attention, support, care. Good day to all! Finally we got our hands on writing about the treatment of our child at the Sant Joan de Deu Barselona hospital. I would like to say once again a huge thank you to Bookimed for the help in choosing a clinic. This is not just a hospital, THIS IS A SUPER HOSPITAL !!! To be honest, they did not even expect that medicine could be of such a high level. About the staff separately: from nurses to professors of the clinic, damn well, all simple, normal, kind people. I have never seen such attention to a child, literally everything is scheduled by the minute, everyone is smiling, joking. In general, the little one did not understand that he had undergone a complex operation on the spinal cord. After the operation and coming out of complex anesthesia, the child never even cried and did not experience any pain (except for changing the dressing, removing the adhesive plaster). The hospital itself is huge, EVERYTHING FOR CHILDREN, everything is in pictures, slides, balls, a dinosaur farm. Everything has been done so that the children would not be afraid of doctors, etc. And a special BIG THANKS to our neurosurgeon Jose Hinojosa Mena-Bernal with a capital letter. This is a man with golden hands and a kind heart (just works wonders)! The child began to walk on his own 5 days after the operation. Thanks to Mikki, the resuscitator, a young guy who looked after the little one after the operation, like his son. And also the hospital's translator, Mikhail, who, together with us, empathized with everything that happened, thanks to nurse Svetlana who helped in all matters related to caring for the little one, including as an interpreter, and just a good kind woman. Thanks to our curator of the hospital for organizing the stay in the clinic, cheerful, always cheerful with a smile on her face Valeria, deciding all issues of hospitalization and treatment. Everything was perfect. My personal driver met me at the airport and took me to the clinic in a luxury car. At the clinic I was met by the coordinator - interpreter Ismail. He helped me to get registered at the clinic and set preliminary analyses. The next day there was another coordinator - interpreter. She helped me through the remaining procedures before surgery. Many people come with an accompanying family member (mum, sister, husband) I came alone. So my coordinator sat with me in the room after surgery all day until I fully recovered, talking to me. All the days after the operation, the coordinators came several times a day to ask about my condition and my needs. All the doctors are very nice and attentive. All the staff, nurses, orderlies and other clinic staff are all very caring and nice. The ward is large and spacious. It has a toilet and a shower. There is a cupboard for personal belongings and a TV set. Meals are provided several times a day. The menu differs depending on the operation and some people can make their own diet.
