Selim Topcu

Dr. Topcu has contributed significantly to cardiovascular medicine through his research. His investigations cover a wide range of topics, including the prognostic value of altitude in heart failure, the role of the right atrium in postoperative atrial fibrillation, and the effects of dialysis type on left atrial functions in end-stage renal failure patients. He has also researched coronary artery anomalies, the importance of magnesium in STEMI patients, and evaluated the efficacy of coronary fractional flow reserve. His work on rare conditions like heart metastasis and apical hypertrophic cardiomyopathy has been recognized in prestigious journals.
