Born in Bulgaria in 1974, Dr. X speaks English, Russian and Bulgarian. He completed his medical school degree at Hacettepe Medical School (1993-1999). He then went on to complete his residency at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital Clinic of Ophthalmology (2000-2004). He has held associate professor positions at Medeniyet University Göztepe Training and Research Hospital, and Chief of Clinic of Ophthalmology at Medeniyet University Göztepe Training and Research Hospital (2014-2016) and Chief of Vitreoretinal Surgery Department at Medeniyet University Göztepe Training and Research Hospital (2010-2017).
