He has a Turkish Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology –Training Council (TOTEK) – BOARD certificate from 2010 and a Title of Associate Professor from April 2015. Dr. Kömürcü has extensive experience in orthopedic and trauma, hand and upper extremity injuries, fractures and dislocations of lower limb, radiological evaluation in musculoskeletal tumors, interventional hip dysplasia, benign and malignant musculoskeletal tumors, vertebral fractures, low back pain and fractures in pelvis.

Highly experienced orthopedic surgeon with training in Human Medicine at Hacetepe, Medicine Faculty, Ankara Turkey and Spine Diseases and Surgeries at Baltalimanı Orthopedics Diseases Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey and University of California, San Francisco, USA. Has performed over 730 orthopedic cases in the last year, including spinal fusion surgeries, vertebral fractures, and vertebral tumors. Member of multiple international organizations. I was born in Elazığ in 1983. After finishing Elazığ Ahmet Kabaklı Anatolian Teacher High School, I got into the Faculty of Medicine of Istanbul University. I completed my specialty in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Faculty of Medicine of Fırat University in 2019, earning the title of Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist.

Until earning my specialty, I worked at Elazığ Maden Public Hospital, Elazığ 112 Emergency, Elazığ Arıcak Üçocak Family Medicine respectively. 

After earning my specialty, I proceeded to work at Bitlis Public Hospital as an Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist.
