As a Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon, Associate Professor Dr Sevgi Kurt started her medical education at Istanbul University Medical Faculty in 2000. After graduation in 2006, she got a degree in the MEdical Specialization Examination and started her training in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Istanbul University Medical Faculty and was entitled to receive the title of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist in 2012.

During her education, she did microsurgery fellowship with Fu Chan Wei and Hung Chi Chen in Taiwan in 2012, and did breast reconstruction fellowship with Moustapha Hamdi in Belgium in 2014.

In 2014, she successfully passed the EBOPRAS (European Plastic Surgery Board Exam) written and oral exams and received the European Board certificate.

After completing her specialization training, she worked at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital and received the title of ‘Associate Professor’ in 2019.

She has scientific studies published in national and international journals and presented at both national and international meetings.

Dr. Selin Güler embarked on her medical journey at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Medical School. After completing her primary medical education there, she opted for one of the top 3 medical schools, Dokuz Eylül University Medical School, for her Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery higher medical education.

Dr. Selin Güler initiated her professional career at Boyabat State Hospital and later transitioned to Dokuz Eylül University. He was born in Samsun in 1978. After graduating from Faculty of Medicine (Çapa Medicine) of the Istanbul University in 2003, he completed his 6-year residency training at Şişli, Etfal Training and Research Hospital Plastic Surgery Clinic and became a Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist.

 

In 2008, he received training from world-renowned surgeons at the University of Plastic Surgery Clinic in the New York, United States and participated the surgeries together with the doctors from New York.
